Our team have been working with The Spinoff since 2015, and most recently to rebuild the entire front-end of the site. To do this, we developed a modern, environmentally-conscious tech stack that supports the delivery of a smarter, data-driven user experience for its audience. The site is now one of the most low-carbon, data-accurate platforms in Aotearoa’s news media space, and growing in audience size by the week.
Alongside the entire web build, The Spinoff needed a new way of talking about itself. We developed an enduring new brand platform and design system that launched its iconic headlines to the streets and screens across Aotearoa, daily.
