Parking in the city can be taxing, literally. With exorbitant prices, the fear of being fined or towed, and the painstaking searching for a parking spot — it’s all just, admin. What makes it even worse is when you look around and see available parking spaces everywhere - empty driveways, underused business parks and dozens of free spaces outside supermarkets, churches and schools.
And so we created Parkable: an app-based sharing economy that allows homeowners, businesses and organisations to share their unused parking spaces with the communities that are searching for them.
Since its launch in 2015, Parkable has evolved to become one of the biggest smart parking companies in the world, being selected by Meta (formerly Facebook) for its offices globally and continuing to develop its inventive solutions for a fairer sharing system anyone can use.
